Many of us with Long Covid are doing everything we have been told to do to try and get well – treating ourselves with medications, supplements, breathing exercises, meditation and rest as we have been advised. But we’re still not getting better.
What if that is because our body is too toxic to benefit from the positive things that we are doing?
Perry Nickelston believes that focusing on the much overlooked lymphatic system could enable our bodies to start responding to our efforts. By getting the lymph moving and clearing the cellular waste, we can start to reduce inflammation and give our body a clean slate, enabling it to absorb the oxygen, nutrients, and medicines that we are using.
Nickelston is a chiropractic physician, a soft tissue therapist and all round health coach who heals people through movement and, through his company Stop Chasing Pain, offers one-to-one sessions and a series of workshops designed to help you take back control of your life from chronic pain. In this episode he guides us through a lymphatic system reset as well as discussing the role of the vagus nerve in chronic disease.
